一直以來，許多企業、民間團體或個人，默默地推動、致力於臺灣文化資產的保存，為彰顯獲獎單位對國家文化資產保存之尊崇，特別規劃第五屆國家文化資產保存獎頒獎典禮暨獲獎單位特展，將獲獎者對國家文化資產保存之維護、傳承與貢獻透過文字及影像等方式記錄下來，讓各界看見文化資產保存的重要性，建立對文化資產之保存觀念重視，一起守護，共同延續屬於我們的文化。

Over the years, many companies, private groups or individuals have been promoting or dedicated to the preservation of Taiwan’s cultural heritage silently. To show our respects to award winners in regard to their efforts in preserving national cultural heritage, Bureau of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture has specially organized “The 5th National Cultural Heritage Preservation Awards Presentation Ceremony and Special Exhibition of Awarded Winners”. The maintenance works, inheritance and contributions made by the award winners for preserving national cultural heritage have all been recorded in texts and images. At the exhibition, these documentary records are presented to all sectors not only to point out the importance of cultural heritage preservation, but also to highlight the must to place importance on cultural heritage conservation and to guard the culture that belongs to us.
